Everyone plays at once.
Each player answers on their own phone. A right answer is worth 500 points, and up to 500 more if it comes in fast.
- 23,417questions across the official themes
- 50official themes
- ~30 sto make a quiz
One topic. Thirty seconds. A game.
Last night’s match, the series that dropped on Friday, your group chat. Write it down and the quiz exists — ready to play, not a draft to fix.

Everyone joins with a code.
You start the game, your friends type the code. Up to 100 players in one lobby, and nobody has to make an account before they can play.

Questions that were checked, not invented.
Every quiz starts with a live web search. Then a second AI has to solve each question blind, with no answer key: what it can’t prove doesn’t ship. That’s why a quiz about yesterday still holds up when someone checks their phone.

- We search the live web
- We write only from sources
- A second AI solves it blind
- What survives reaches you
Then you keep score.
Ranked 1v1 duels, battle royale, a seven-tier league, a season, and a daily streak you won’t want to break. Enough to come back on Tuesday.

50 themes, ready to play.
If you don’t want to write anything, it’s already there — and every theme has its own page with real questions and answers.

Animals quiz
- What Gorilla is the largest primate on the planet?
- How many eyelids do camels have on each of their eyes?
- Which animal sees more daylight than any other creature on the planet, thanks to its 19,000 km (12,000 mile) journey to winter in the Antarctic?
- What other common name is used for Kitti’s hog-nosed bat, the smallest bat species in the world?
… and 36 more, with the answer key overleaf.
Before you install.
The six questions we get most. The rest — accounts, data, what to do when something breaks — is on the help page.
- Is EpiQuiz free?
- Yes. The app downloads for nothing and the whole game plays that way: every official theme, games with friends, ranked duels, the league. There are ads between games, never during a question.
- What does the subscription include?
- EpiQuiz Infinite, €1.99 a month: no more ads, a generation allowance that goes from 30 to 120 credits a month, and 1,000 gems every seven days. It is not unlimited and we would rather say so — a quiz costs 1 to 5 credits depending on how much research it needed.
- Where do I get the app?
- On Google Play, today. The App Store listing is not open yet: its button says so rather than pretend, and it turns into a real link the day the listing exists.
- iPhone or Android?
- Both, and it is the same game. An iPhone player and an Android player join the same lobby with the same code and see the same question at the same moment.
- Do I need an internet connection?
- Yes, and there is no offline mode. It is what puts the same question on five phones in the same second — and a quiz about yesterday searches the web at the moment you ask for it.
- Which languages can we play in?
- The app speaks English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Not every official theme is translated: the themes page lists the ones that exist in your language. A generated quiz is written straight into whichever language you picked.
